Attorney Panel Qualifications

Applicants must satisfy the General Qualifications below, as well as the specific requirements for the panel(s) to which they are applying. Admission to all panels is determined by the Administrator based upon an applicant’s qualifications, experience, and demonstrated ability to provide high-quality representation.

General qualifications

All Applicants Must:

Be admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
Be able to provide a current Certificate of Good Standing.
Be engaged in the full-time practice of law.
Maintain a business office suitable for meeting with clients and witnesses.
Reside in Nassau County or maintain a business office in Nassau County.
Meet the minimum experience requirements for the panel sought, unless the Administrator determines that an applicant’s prior professional experience demonstrates the knowledge and ability necessary to serve on that panel.
